Amy Hornsby was born and raised in north Georgia, her knowledge of the North Georgia mountains area and surrounding counties is extradentary. She comes from a background of communications, sales and client representation. Amy brings her experience, intellect, and energy to each unique opportunity to provide her clients with outstanding service. Whether she is assisting a buyer or seller in a residential transaction, helping navigate through to the closing table, bringing solutions to any needed situation, or assisting in property management or preservation, Amy puts her whole heart and focus in the details and goes the extra mile for each of her clients and their best interests.

Amy Hornsby has real estate experience that dates back to 2007, she moved her focus to REO property preservation during the recession in 2010 where she made the best out of a bad time. Amy has earned real-life experience in client relations, business development, sales and marketing that makes her uniquely suited to serve real estate buyers and sellers. She has a great understanding of how to communicate well with her clients so she can manage the transaction according to their unique needs and successfully guide them toward the desired outcome as smoothly as possible during the process of home buying and selling. Amy has a passion for people, she takes great pride and pleasure in working for her clients and providing them with the best experience possible. She strongly believes that referrals are the best compliments one can receive so she works hard to earn referrals and long term clients.

Amy Hornsby entered the Real Estate world in order to be her own boss with a customizable schedule so she could provide for her family while making time to be a mom as well. She has two lovely little boys that her world revolves around when she isn't hard at work doing what she loves. Amy's passion for people gives her the desire to help people accomplish homeownership, and her real estate skills and knowledge gives her the ability to do both while providing a stellar experience. Her favorite part of being a Realtor is working with families that end up being an extension of her own family. She jumped back in to working directly with buyers and sellers after the recession as soon as she could and she hasn't looked back.
Amy currently resides in Cornelia and spends her free time enjoying the great outdoors, when she isn't attending one of her kids' ball games. She enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, biking, trying new restaurants, or having a picnic in the sweet company of her family and friends.
